Access to the kolleko.com site and the use of our services imply acceptance of these terms and conditions. The content of the site, including text, images and graphic elements, is the property of Kolleko and may not be reproduced without prior written permission.

Kolleko offers services for the collection of bulky items and small demolition according to the terms agreed with its customers. The service descriptions presented on the site are for information purposes only; rates and availability may vary depending on the projects and the region served (Quebec and Ontario).

We are not responsible for damages resulting from the misuse of our services, nor for potential site interruptions due to maintenance or causes beyond our control.

By accessing kolleko.com, you agree that any dispute is governed by the applicable laws of the province of Quebec or Ontario, depending on the place where the services are primarily provided, as well as by the federal laws of Canada applicable to them.

Kolleko strictly complies with the provisions of Bill 25 relating to the protection of personal information in Quebec, as well as applicable data protection laws in Canada. Any collection, use, retention, and destruction of personal information is carried out in strict compliance with the rights of individuals and applicable legal requirements, including transparency, security, and notification obligations in the event of a confidentiality incident.

Electronic communications and consent

Some of our communications may be made electronically, including by email and text message (SMS). The sending of commercial messages is governed by the Canadian Anti-Spam Law (CASL/CASL), which requires obtaining valid consent, identifying the sender and providing a simple and functional unsubscribe mechanism in each message.

By providing your contact information (email, mobile phone number, etc.) and by agreeing to receive electronic communications, you acknowledge that some communications may be commercial in nature (promotions, offers, news about our services) and agree to receive these messages in accordance with applicable law. By providing your mobile phone number and choosing to join our SMS program (for example by ticking a box provided for this purpose, by completing a form, or by giving us your registered verbal consent), you agree to receive text messages (SMS) from Kolleko on this number.

Message subject

SMS messages may include:

Scheduling appointments and appointment reminders.

Service updates and follow-up after intervention.

Communications related to customer service.

Promotional offers, discounts and company news, when you have expressly consented to receive promotional or marketing messages.

Message frequency

The frequency of messages may vary depending on how you use our services, the number of appointments, your support requests, and your marketing preferences. In all cases, we are committed to limiting messages to what is reasonably necessary for the management of your services and the communications to which you have consented.

Unsubscribe instructions

You can unsubscribe from the SMS program at any time by simply replying “STOP” to any SMS message we send you. Upon receiving your unsubscribe message, we will stop texting you unless you later choose to re-subscribe. In a French-speaking context, we can also process certain recognized variants (e.g. “STOP”) in order to facilitate the exercise of your right of withdrawal.

Please note that if you unsubscribe from our text messages, certain essential communications related to the performance of our services may need to be made by other means (e.g. email or telephone), where permitted or required by law.

Message and data fees

Email and data rates may apply depending on your plan with your mobile service provider. Kolleko is not responsible for fees charged by your provider; it is your responsibility to check your package and the applicable fees for sending and receiving text messages.

Responsibility of carriers

Mobile service providers (carriers) are not responsible for delayed, lost, or undelivered messages. The delivery of messages is conditional on the availability and proper functioning of telecommunications networks, over which Kolleko has no control.

Eligibility

By joining the SMS program, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or have the authorization of your parent or legal guardian. You also represent that the telephone number provided is yours or that you are authorized to use it and to consent to receive messages on this number.

Protection of personal information

Telephone numbers and other personal information collected as part of our SMS program are treated in accordance with our privacy policy and applicable privacy laws, including Quebec's Bill 25. This includes taking reasonable steps to protect your information, limit access to authorized individuals, and destroy or anonymize data when it is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected.
